NGPF Nearpod slide decks are available for the 9-Week Course, Semester Course, and Middle School Course. Visit the course pages to add the Nearpod slide decks to your Nearpod Account by following these pro tips: 

• You will need to be logged into your Nearpod account on nearpod.com before you can click the links below to download the Nearpod lessons and add them to your Nearpod library.
• NGPF does not recommend downloading every Nearpod lesson at one time but only the ones you plan to use in the near future. NGPF’s Nearpod lessons include several multimedia resources that can fill up the storage capacity in your Nearpod account, so only download upcoming lessons.
• Adding a Nearpod lesson closer to your date of instruction will ensure you have the most up-to-date version. 
  Nearpod lessons are not live documents like Google Docs/Slides, but they are updated when units are updated.

At this time, Middle and High School Personal Finance lessons are aligned to the previous Jump$tart National Standards for Personal Finance. Jump$tart released new standards in Oct 2021, and NGPF will begin the process of updating standards language on the lesson guides shortly, though we don't anticipate changes to the actual lesson content.

Financial Algebra lessons are aligned to Jump$tart National Standards as well as Common Core Math Standards.

Other than a small trial run for TEKs alignment in Texas, we have not embarked on alignment to every set of state standards, unfortunately. It's beyond the scope of what the NGPF team can maintain on a regular basis.

Yes! NGPF curriculum is offered at no-cost and accessible to all educators. The only resources that require a teacher account are the Assessments, Answer Keys, and Newsletter Subscription. If you are interested in these resources, please follow the steps to create a Free NGPF Teacher Account.

Here at NGPF, not only do we care about increasing access to personal finance education, we care very greatly about offering the materials for free. NGPF Academy is our way of keeping track of your professional development participation and rewarding you for it. Through it, we offer free PD opportunities and fun incentives for completing challenges or earning badges. Learn more at the NGPF Academy page

 At NGPF we offer three different types of Professional Development. Visit any of these pages to register for an event:

• NGPF Certification Courses: Our most in-depth, comprehensive courses that require 10 hours of time commitment
• NGPF Virtual PD: 1 hour virtual courses offered M-Th every week 
• NGPF On-Demand: Asynchronous PD on your own schedule, at your own pace

• Be sure you are logged in to your NGPF account on our website.
• Once you have logged into your NGPF Account, click on My NGPF Academy to find the upcoming events you have registered for. You can click View to access the zoom link for the session.

Please fill out the missing credits form. The form is also available on your account’s My NGPF Academy page by clicking “Report Error in my Credits”.

• Be sure you are logged in to your NGPF account on our website.
• Once you have logged into your NGPF Account, click on My NGPF Academy to find the event you have attended and click View. If you attended and completed a survey, there should be a link to your Certificate.

• Be sure you are logged in to your NGPF account on our website.
• Click "My NGPF Academy" on the left toolbar to see your total Academy Credits and event registrations.

Please wait 24 hours for the credit to appear in your account. If it is still missing, fill out the missing credits form. The form is also available on your account’s My NGPF Academy page.

Teacher Slides and Teacher Guides are found within the guide UNLESS it states in the upper right hand corner of the page to look in the Answer Keys. 

The Bean Game and Joining the Market are popular examples of activities that need the Answer Key to facilitate.

Oftentimes, content blocking is due to school or district network settings. First, try contacting your IT department to see what they can do to alleviate the problem. If the issue continues to persist, please contact us.

NGPF personal finance vocabulary resources can be found as Quizlet vocab cards. These resources and more are found in our Unit Review section of the NGPF website.

Note: The NGPF Quiz Games Library is located under the Curriculum menu.

In addition, NGPF as developed a Personal Finance Dictionary to review core personal finance terms and definitions. Terms were selected from each of the units in NGPF’s Curriculum and are provided, with definitions, in both English and Spanish.

We believe that every student should take a one-semester personal finance course before graduating from high school. The life skills that personal finance education provides are too important to leave to budgetary whims or fickle funding sources. For this reason, NGPF is funded through an endowment created by the co-founder and receives no funding from any outside sources, including financial institutions. All NGPF curriculum, professional development, and advocacy support are offered at NO-COST and always will be.
