If you’re teaching Financial Algebra, check out the new parent newsletters accompanying the course. With these, you can easily keep families informed and provide opportunities to reinforce student learning at home.
Each unit has a customizable newsletter to send home to families. The newsletter includes space for important announcements, personal finance conversation starters, and resources for additional math practice.
Check out the newsletter for the Intro to Investing & Exponential Functions unit:
The “Math Skills in This Unit” section highlights 3 key math skills from the unit. Each math skill includes a link to an optional accompanying worksheet, video, or interactive problems for students to get additional practice. You can easily customize the skills and resources in this section for your students.
You can find the newsletters linked in each Lesson Guide under “Plan Your Unit”. To use them, make a copy of the newsletter and customize any portions highlighted in yellow. Then, include them in the communications you send home to students’ families.
